Job Description:
ACCEL Physiotherapy and Sport Performance Centre, located in Halifax, is pleased to offer the opportunity for a full time Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. ACCEL is led by Karen Decker, Physiotherapist, and includes a collaborative team of Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractor and Occupational Therapist. Our vision is to be the lead centre for sport injury prevention, rehabilitation and high performance training in Atlantic Canada.
Requirements:
• Registered Massage Therapist, with 2,200 hours from a recognized institution
• Advanced credentials in sport massage therapy, lympahatic drainage, fascial stretch therapy, etc. are considered assets
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment with a focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation and sport performance
• Proficiency with computers
• Willingness to work designated evenings and weekends
• Desire to work in high performance environment
• Possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Works effectively in a team situation and also independently
• Exceptional customer service
Contract: Full time position (20-25 treatment hours per week)
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
Schedule: Must be available for flexible schedule of mornings and evenings
