Orthotics

Orthotics can help you recognize the direct impact your feet have on the rest of your body. When a small issue develops in your feet, this can create a chain reaction that negatively affects your posture and walking. A foot orthotic is a device that can be inserted into your shoe to support, align, prevent or accommodate problems like heel, arch, knee, shin or hip pain, as well as complications related to health conditions like diabetes and arthritis.

At the ACCEL Centre, your need for custom foot orthotics is determined by a Certified Pedorthist. Our Pedorthist will complete a thorough assessment of your feet and gait mechanics and create orthotics as well as recommend or adjust footwear to keep you active.
